Miley Cyrus, who had a successful career early in her childhood, recently gushed about why it was "awkward" to have been famous at a young age.
This singer started acting when she was only eight-year-old, and has talked about the ups and the downs which come with it.
While talking to Variety, the Wrecking Ball hit maker stated, “Being recognisable as a teen going through different phases and stages was sometimes awkward, but that’s what helped me relate to the kids watching at home.”
The singer, who had previously revealed that she was not able to relate much with “normal” kids as she had a completely different childhood, confessed that awkwardness connected her to her viewers at that time somehow.
She also opened up about her rehab journey as she blamed her young age dopamine high because of fame as one of the reasons which caused her to get addicted in the first place.
“I was so used to living at a high, and I don’t think I ever learned how to come down from that. Now, through a sober lens, I can have compassion and understanding for myself,” the Disney child star concluded.
On a professional note, Miley is currently busy with the comeback of Hannah Montana for its 20th anniversary on March 26, 2026.
