Jay-Z will headline two consecutive nights at Yankee stadium in July, the first major concerts in years since 2017.
Roc Nation said that 56-year-old the hip-hop star will give a back-to-back concert on Wednesday to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut album.
This marks the 25th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and his classic LP, The Blueprint on the same day.
The first concert is on Friday, July 10 and is a commemoration of the 1996 release which propelled his career.
Saturday, July 11, will feature the release of "The Blueprint," the 2001 record that most people consider his masterpiece with production by Kanye West and Eminem.
On the social media, Roc Nation billed the two events as JAY-Z 30 and JAY-Z 25, a reference to the new umlauted version of the rapper's stage name, originally used during the Reasonable Doubt period.
This comes after Jay-Z announced that he will perform at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30.
He will perform with The Roots in a decade for the first time. The ticket information of the Yankees stadium shows is yet to be announced.
It is worth noting that the star now goes by JAŸ-Z, adding an umlaut over the “Y.”
