Steven Spielberg, who is an American filmmaker and widely known as an influential figure in the cinema industry, recently added his opinion to the ongoing debate.
The debate came to light after the famous actor, Timothée Chalamet, revealed his opinion about the oldest form of art, Ballet and Opera and confessed that it is something “no one cares about.”
Now, all the celebrities are coming forward to take a stand against the Marty Supreme star and gush about Ballet and Opera.
One of the greatest movie makers in the history of cinema stated, “But for me, the real experience comes when we can influence a community to congregate in a strange, dark space where all of us are strangers.”
He added, “At the end of a really good movie experience, we are all united with a whole bunch of feelings that we walk into the daylight with, or into the nighttime with. And there’s nothing like that. It happens in movies, and in concerts. And it happens in ballet and opera, by the way.”
While also adding that he “want that to go forever” he grinned and took a jab at the 30-year-old.
It is to be noted that The Wonka actor has been under fire for his statement ever since, with renowned figures commenting on his views like Jamie Lee Curtis, Doja Cat, Charlie Puth, and many more.
