Katseye, with members Manon, Daniela, Yoonchae, Lara, Sophia, Megan, made the headlines for a reported drama.
The girl group declared in an official statement that their member Manon is going on a temporary hiatus due to her health issues.
Although the members are yet to address the big decision individually, the 21-year-old’s father turned to social media and dragged the 23-year-old.
Rafael Avanzini, going by his X handle @rafaelavanzini, seemingly penned down on the platform: “We need girls who can grind.KATSEYE is power house. The show must go on.”
It was evident that the latin dancer attempted to drag the Gameboy musician for pausing her musical journey to focus on herself.
The online community called him out for his questionable remarks with one X user noting that the band is “ a set six piece point-blank, period. DO NOT F**K THIS US!”
In the viral screenshot, Rafael doubled down on his views, responding with: “5 is ok too.”
Soon, his recent dance video’s comment section was flooded with comments from the group’s fans, condemning his remarks.
An Instagram user noted: “KATSEYE IS NOTHING WITHOUT MANON ITS SIX OR NOTHING.”
Why did Manon go on hiatus?
His comments added fire to fuel as the fandom did not find the health issue reason convincing and speculated a fall out between the girls.
