Eric Dane’s friends asking for funding to support family?

Eric Dane passed away at on Thursday, February 19 of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and his friends and family have taken a major step in the wake of his death.
The Burlesque actor’s friends appear to be seeking financial aid to support the late 53-year-old’s family, including ex Rebecca Gayheart and two daughters, 15-year-old Billie Beatrice Dane and 13-year-old Georgia Geraldine Dane.
A new GoFundMe has come to light, which has been created by the Euphoria star’s loved ones for assistance with medical expenses and the young girls’ future.
"Even as his own health declined, he remained deeply committed to helping others facing the same devastating disease," it states.
"As his illness progressed far more quickly than anyone could have imagined, Eric's friends have come together to create this GoFundMe to support his girls and their future needs,” the GoFundMe description continued.
Although Eric and Rebecca had separated in 2018, she made a conscious effort to show up for the beloved actor in the wake of his diagnosis which he made public 10 months ago, in 2025.
Notably, the Charmed actor spent his final moments surrounded by the two and their mother, and died peacefully and the family has also asked for privacy to grieve.
