Graham Norton opened up about how the star-studded Taylor Swift and how it came to be.

Swift, who released her 12th studio album Life of a Showgirl on October 3, appeared at The Graham Norton Show later that month to promote it.

Along with the Lover crooner, Domhnall Gleeson, Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Lewis Capaldi, also had guest appearances at the show.

Few months later on February 6, The Fate of Ophelia hitmaker released music video of album's second single Opalite, featuring everyone present from that episode.

Following its release, the Irish host in a recent podcast episode with actress Maria McErlane on the Wanging On, reflected on working with the Blank Space singer.

Talking about the star-studded filming and visuals he said, "It was like a movie shoot, a massive, massive deal. Everyone was lovely on set, it was a really, really fun experience."

Norton shared that the idea generated in Swift while she was seated on his show's sofa and then "the next thing you know, she’s written this whole treatment."

Praising her work ethics, he called her a "marvellous" director who keeps her stress level in control while working.

The Father Ted star also was "in awe" of himself on being keeping the news of Opalite's secret shoot, which took place towards the end of last year, to himself.

He revealed that they had filmed it in November and by New Year he was begging her to release it as he wanted to tell someone about it.

Swift in her Instagram post called Norton "insanely charismatic and loveable" and said of the October show, being "ridiculously lucky with the group I was paired with."
