Taylor Swift has disclosed the moment that influenced her Opalite music video idea.

The 36-year-old, in a candid Instagram post, shared a carousel of spicy pictures from her shoot with on-set stars of The Graham Norton Show.

During her appearance to promote The Life of a Showgirl, the first imaginative spark came to her mind.

She went on to mark, “The idea for the Opalite music video crash-landed into my imagination,” referring to when she was a guest on her favorite show.

Moreover, the Lover crooner explained for the unversed what the show is about: in her words, a UK late-night show with Graham Norton, whom she marked as the “insanely charismatic and lovable host.”

Adding, he “invites a random group of actors, entertainers, musicians, etc to be on his show, and we all sit there and chat like it’s a dinner party.”

Taylor was accompanied on the show by Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Lewis Capaldi.

Notably, during the broadcast, Domhnall made a jest about his wish to be part of her music videos.

She stated, “He’s Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an *idea*.”

"So a week later he received an email script I’d written for the Opalite video, where he was playing the starring role."

Taylor revealed her wild idea to add all fellow guests on the show that night, like a school group project but for adults.

"To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90’s with us and help with this video."

The Opalite video is out now on Spotify & Apple Music.
