Bad Bunny’s much talked about Super Bowl Halftime performance showed snippets of a couple dressed in white, and surprisingly looking like they were getting married.
As it turns out, the marriage was legitimate one and the duo was a real couple that tied the knot during the Puerto Rican rapper’s show.
Multiple reports confirm that the Monaco rapper’s representative has stated that the now-married couple had invited the singer to their wedding but since he could not attend, he asked them to have their nuptials at the massive sports event instead.
They were wed live, in front of the huge crowd, with Bad Bunny signing the marriage certificate and a wedding cake being provided as well.
In broadcast of the performance, the duo could be seen getting officiated and exchanging “I do’s” along with cutting the noticeably large, three-tier cake at a later point.
The moment was celebrated by internet users, who took to social media platforms like X to remark on how exciting it must’ve been.
“From wedding guests to halftime stars—what an upgrade,” one netizen wrote, “Imagine telling your kids you got married during a Super Bowl halftime show. Life peaked early.”
“By turning a private celebration into a global event, Bad Bunny reinforced the show's theme: ‘The only thing more powerful than hate is love.’”
