Lady Gaga became one of the pioneers of an online trend "What’s Your Favorite" to celebrate 30 years of franchise debut.
After the 39-year-old singer joined Bad Bunny and others to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime, Gaga turned to Instagram to share pictures with her favourite Pokémon.
The Bad Romance hitmaker posed with Jigglypuff in a studio, dressed in a black, edgy fit. She also starred in an advertisement of Pokémon.
In the video, the singer revealed the reasons she adores Jigglypuff as she “has a 12 octave vocal range” along with the ability to “always find a way to make it funny.”
According to Gaga, the character is special to her as she utilises “her voice to protect herself.”
The campaign started during the Big Game with the video, also shared on The Official Pokemon YouTube channel.
Alongside Gaga, the video also features BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Trevor Noah, Young Miko, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Lamine Yamal and Charles Leclerc.
The Pokémon press released an announcement to the official kickstart of the campaign which will allow fans to access the special “new camera feature through the popular Pokémon Go.
This came after the singer appreciated Bad Bunny after performing at his headlining set at one of the biggest stages in the country.
