Kim Kardashian has opened up about where she now stands with ex-husband Kanye West.
The 45-year-old reality TV star insisted that family comes first, while the wounds of the past remain.
Speaking to Complex this week, she admitted that despite their turbulent split, she and Kanye will “always be family.”
For the unversed, the former couple, who married in 2014 and divorced in 2022, share four children. North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
According to SKIMS founder, her focus is firmly on protecting them.
“We both know that,” she said of their bond.
“We will be okay, and there’s so much love for our family. We want what’s best for our kids.”
Her comments come after fans questioned why Kim recently promoted Yeezy boots in a TikTok filmed during a glamorous Aspen getaway.
Laughing it off, she explained: “I couldn’t deny the Yeezy heel, so I had to shout it out.”
She even joked that the shoes may have been custom-made just for her.
Behind the polished posts, however, the mum of four admitted the past few years have been deeply testing.
On The Kardashians, she previously revealed how stress linked to the 48-year-old rapper’s behaviour triggered health issues, including a psoriasis flare-up and a brain aneurysm that doctors said may have been stress-related.
“I had to super, super protect what I had to protect. My kids are involved now,” she said tearfully on the show.
While Runaway hitmaker apologised earlier this year for his erratic and antisemitic remarks, Kim has been honest about the emotional toll.
She’s also revealed that despite his public claims, he hasn’t stayed in regular contact with their children.
Still, Kim remains resolute. “My only job,” she said, “is to be strong for my kids.”
