Scott Foley opens up about returning to 'Scream' franchise

Scott Foley is opening up about his return to the Scream series for the highly anticipated Scream 7, calling the experience of revisiting his character “wonderful” as the franchise gears up for its Feb. 27 release.

Foley, who originally portrayed villain Roman Bridger in Scream 3, confirmed that he rejoined the cast despite the character’s on-screen death in the earlier installment. 

While plot details remain tightly under wraps, his return is part of a broader push to weave legacy elements from the series into this newest chapter.

In interviews about the upcoming installment, the actor shared that reconnecting with familiar faces and revisiting key Scream locations made the project especially meaningful.
