Kylie Kelce, host of the Not Gonna Lie podcast and wife of former NFL star Jason Kelce, says she makes a conscious effort to speak positively about herself, even on tough days, to set a strong emotional example for her four young daughters.
In an exclusive interview with People, the 33-year-old emphasized that motherhood has reshaped how she thinks about self-talk and her role as a daily model of confidence for her children.
Kelce and her husband are parents to four girls, Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett and Finnley, and she said she feels a responsibility to demonstrate self-love in her words, even when she doesn’t feel her best.
“I really try my best to make sure that I speak positively about myself, even on the days that I don’t necessarily feel it,” Kelce told People, noting that children absorb messaging early and that positive reinforcement can help them drown out negativity later in life.
As per the outlet, Kelce said her approach is rooted in her own personal journey with self-acceptance. As a young athlete playing field hockey, she once viewed her height and physique as obstacles.
Beyond parenting, Kelce continues her partnership with Dove, which promotes body confidence, including a commercial slated to air during the 2026 Super Bowl.
