Why Zendaya 'fiercely protect' her romance with Tom Holland?

Zendaya has finally shared the reason behind the famous Hollywood couple to maintain strict relationship quietness.

In a rare discussion, the 29-year-old Euphoria star for the first time candidly detailed her beau, Tom Holland.

Now, the Euphoria star has opened up about her life with Tom, rating him highly as both an onscreen partner and a real-life one.

The i'm tired crooner stated to Daily Mirror, “I might be a little biased but he is not only my favorite person, he is my favorite person to work with.”

Continuing, Zendaya marked on Tom, “On set, he has this huge calming presence that not only puts me at ease but also everybody he works with.”

The Challengers actress, speaking about the private nature of their relationship, added, “Neither of us want to hide and not live our lives and do normal things, like go out for dinner, but at the same time, we want to protect our privacy.”

She went on to explain, “You have to accept that to a degree, some aspects of your privacy are going to be out of your control. But the parts that are in our control, we fiercely protect.”

Notably, the pair is currently residing in the UK, the Spider-Man actor’s home country.

Moreover, the Oakland-born actress admitted that she is now used to living across the pond and marked that she doesn’t “feel like a visitor anymore.”

“It really feels like coming home, and I love the people,” she said.

However, she shared her views about a UK native snack, saying, “But I will never understand the fascination with Jaffa Cakes. They just don’t make sense to me.”

For the unversed, the duo confirmed their engagement as cited by multiple outlets in early 2025.

Since 2021, the couple has been romantically involved and will appear together in the MCU car in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Additionally, the pair is to reunite opposite in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, scheduled to release on July 17.
