Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have been dragged multiple times for maintaining a private life away from his family.
After David and Victoria were claimed to be blocked by the aspiring chef, the 26-year-old opened up about the family feud in a bombshell Instagram update.
Although the young couple have been painted as the "villains," things were described drastically opposite to what happened in the past few years.
The Cloud23 founder slammed his parents for manipulating press and the narrative, leaving him “no choice” but to break silence and clear out the rumours himself.
It was firstly reported that Nicola was influencing her husband. After clearly announcing that he doesn’t want to “reconcile” with the Beckhams, he debunked being controlled and all the major allegations levelled against the two.
According to the update, the famous duo alter the “narratives” about their family and share “performative” posts to maintain a status in the world. They share “countless lies” in the media and exploit innocent people.
He confirmed that his mother first promised to design a wedding dress for Nicola but then cancelled it at “the eleventh hour,” forcing the bride to look for other options. The news was widely covered by outlets, noting how the design began a starting point for their feud.
Brooklyn admitted being pressured in to “signing away the rights” to his name before his nuptials as it would initiate the “terms of the deal.” His refusal came with major impacts on his “payday” and treating him differently.
The Beckhams were adamant that David’s eldest son should not marry the model, highlighting she “was not blood” and “not family.” However, this did not stop the former photographer from marrying the love of his life and "stood up" for himself and his wife.
While it was reported that the young star was the one to cut off ties with his clan, he revealed being attacked by parents, brothers, and “press on their orders.” They proceeded to “block” him out this last summer.
The eldest son expressed frustration and feeling uncomfortable for the fashion designer hijacking his “first dance with my wife.” He felt humiliated in front of 500 attendees as his mother was “waiting to dance.”
After bitter memories of the nuptials, the pair decided to renew their vows and make “new memories of our wedding day” instead of anxiety and embarrassment.
We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.
