Taylor Swift and her twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl did not get nominated in any category for the Grammy’s this year, but there might be a chance that the pop superstar be included anyway.
The singer was snubbed because her album was not eligible for nomination, since it was released a month after the qualifying window closed.
In a new report by Hits Daily Double the Grammy producer Ben Winston might have plans to include the Evermore singer to the event and extend her an invitation.
The singer could be invited by the Recording Academy to present an award and to perform and also if she is extended an invite by those in charge for any other reason.
Taylor’s fans flocked to social media, namely X, to share the news and express their excitement and longing for the 14-time Grammy winner to attend the prestigious ceremony.
“They should make her present AOTY,” one internet user wrote on X, as another added, “i sure hope so it’s always boring asf when she’s not there.”
A third remarked, “I don’t find it that crazy. She wasn’t performing on TV during 2022-2024 to save the hype for Eras but this time there’s no tour and I cannot imagine this era not getting a live performance at all during its whole first year.”
Taylor had a short-lived romance with Matty Healy, with her ex prior to that being Joe Alwyn.
