Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck split after ten years of marriage in 2015, and the actress has made a rare remark about how things have been.
The Alias actress and the Good Will Hunting actor have been co-parenting their three children, Violet Anne, 20, Seraphina Rose, 17, and Samuel, 13, since they parted ways and the matriarch of the family is dishing on the hardships they face.
In an interview with Marie Claire UK, the 53-year-old stated, “You have to be smart about what you can and can’t handle, and I could not handle what was out there. But…the actual breaking up of a family is what was hard. Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard.”
Jennifer added, “I make a big, concerted effort to see my people as much as I can, because that’s what matters, that’s where your resilience is: it’s in your relationships and in the people who carry you through.”
The mother-of-three also talked about how much she loves her children, and that she thinks that they are really cool.
Notably, the actress who is currently dating businessman John Miller, is often spotted out and about smiling with Ben and her children as they mark co-parenting outings.
Miller married violinist Caroline Campbell in April 2005. He initially filed for divorce in June 2011, but the couple reconciled the following February. However, in October 2014, they once again filed for divorce.
