Pink rang in the new year from a hospital bed after undergoing surgery to replace two cervical discs in her neck, the singer revealed in an Instagram post on New Year’s Eve.
The 46-year-old, known for her daring aerial performances, shared a smiling selfie from her hospital room showing a large bandage around her neck, and offered fans an honest update on her health and outlook for 2026.
In her lengthy caption, Pink described 2025 as a year that spanned “from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying,” but also one with moments of beauty.
She wrote that her decision to undergo the procedure was part of “fixing my body,” joking that “it may not be a fancy facelift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck,” and quipping that “rock ’n’ roll is a contact sport.”
While her husband, Carey Hart, and their two children were away snowboarding, Pink spent midnight recuperating alone, but remained optimistic.
She told followers that she was “so happy to say goodbye to the snake year and welcome in the horse,” and vowed to “choose joy” and leave behind the hurt of the past year.
Pink encouraged fans to focus on positivity and self-care while acknowledging that not everyone has the same choices in life.
Moreover, she pledged to support others in pursuing happiness and wellbeing in 2026, signing off with heartfelt wishes for more sunshine, love and joy in the months ahead.
