Shakira marked history heading into 2026 being one of the most successful years in music history as a Latin artist.

Sony Music Latin shared a carousel of posters mentioning all the achievements on their official Instagram account.

“Record-setting 88 shows, first stadium tour, which became the biggest Latin female tour ever.”

“Grammy awards, named #1 Latin female artist of ALL TIME by Billboard, acted and performed in a $1.5 billion Disney movie that spawned a hit song.”

Notably, the song garnered millions of views from social media followers, marking the achievement while raising two amazing sons.

Further adding, “Shakira, we are all so proud of you and all you have accomplished this year!”

Throughout the year, the 48-year-old crooner grabbed over 70 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Shakira reprised her role as Gazelle in the sequel to Zootopia, and she co-wrote and performed the new hit song Zoo alongside Ed Sheeran and Blake Slatkin.

Recently, in her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour concert at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, the Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker was left completely shocked during a fan interaction.

The clip immediately went viral, in which Shakira is seen singing when a man suddenly and forcibly grabs the songstress by her shoulder and kisses her on the face.

However, the Waka Waka star handled the situation professionally and continued her performance, leaving the spot.
