Jennifer Lopez embraces single life after one year of divorce

Nearly a year after finalizing her divorce from actor Ben Affleck, singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is reportedly not dating and remains focused on her career and family, according to sources close to the star. 

Lopez finalized her split from Affleck in January 2025 after filing for divorce in August 2024, bringing an end to their highly publicized marriage.

Despite speculation about her love life, the entertainer has chosen to step back from romance, instead dedicating her time to professional projects and her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

A source told People that Lopez is “happy and content” with her current lifestyle and not actively pursuing a relationship, emphasizing a focus on personal growth and her children.

Lopez has spoken publicly about her shift in priorities, indicating that she is not interested in dating apps and prefers to live life on her own terms. 

In past interviews, she reflected on past relationships and expressed a belief in self-reliance and emotional fulfillment from within rather than seeking it through others.

Although she and Affleck remain on good terms, even recently stepping out together for holiday shopping with family, sources stress there is no romantic reunion on the horizon. 

Instead, Lopez’s supporters say her current chapter is defined by independence, professional ambition and family.
