The French actress passed away at the age of 91
Jennifer Aniston has taken to Instagram to mourn the loss of the legendary French actress Brigitte Bardot.
The French actress passed away on December 28 at the age of 91 leaving a legacy of cinematic excellence behind marred with political controversies.
The Freinds star shared a picture of the actress on her Instagram account to remember her ;egacy.
Along with the picture, the actress wrote “RIP LEGEND [Dove emoji] [Heartbreak emoji]”.
Interestingly, the sitcom icon also put French song La Vie En Rose on her story.
The Contempt actress had been in the southern French city of Toulon since November.
Her death was announced by her foundation who shared a statement saying “The Brigitte Bardot foundation announces with immense sadness the death of its founder and president, Madame Brigitte Bardot, a world renowned actress and singer, who chose to abandon her prestigious career to dedicate her life and energy to animal welfare and her foundation.
During her career, she gave hit movies like And God Created Woman, Rum Runners, Shalako and many more.
At the age of 43, Brigitte retired form acting and became an activist.
