Macaulay Culkin is arguably one of the most recognisable child actors of the 1990’s.
The actor was only 10 when he was cast in the 1990 blockbuster Home Alone which became his break out role.
He then went on to reprise his role as Kevin in the sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and also played the titular role in Richie Rich.
Because of his global fame, Macaulay lived in a bubble and admits he never realised how different his life was.
He spoke about the making the comparison and realistion on a new episode of Mythical Kitchen.
“I knew that what I was doing was different than other kids. For me, I didn't know how weird my life was until I got older and got away from it.”, the actor opened up.
The actor was born to parents Christopher Cornelius "Kit" Culkin and Patricia Brentrup in 1980 but had a troublesome childhood marred with family issues and estrangement from father.
He ultimately stepped away from acting a the age of 14 and returned 7 years later in Party Monster in 2003.
The Zootopia 2 star is now a father himself of two sons, Dakota and Carson, who he shared with fiancee Brenda Song.
