Bruce Willis’ wife has open dup about how holiday season has been amid her husband’s deteriorating health.

The Die Hard icon was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023 and since his health has declined.

Emma Heming, who married the actor in 2009, has shared how Christmas is as her husband struggles with health battle.

The British model wrote about her grief in an essay titled The Holidays Look Different Now.

She recalled how Bruce loved Christmas, spending time with his kids making them pancakes and playing in the snow with them.

“When you’re caring for someone with dementia, that reflection can feel especially poignant”, she wrote.

“There can still be joy. I’ve learned that the holidays don’t disappear when dementia enters your life. They change.”

The 70-year-old’s iconic Die Hard series is considered one of the best Christmas movies of all time.

Emma previously revealed that before Bruce’s condition was diagnosed, the two were facing marital issues and even considered divorce at one point.

The couple share two daughters, Mable and Evelyn. Meanwhile, Bruce also has three kids with his former wife Demi Moore.

The actor was moved into a care facility as it was getting harder for the family to manage him at home.
