American actress Alison Arngrim revealed that Sean Penn passed out on the set of Little House on the Prairie during his guest appearance.
The actor made a brief appearance on the season 1, episode 11 of the show playing an extra in the episode “The Voice of Tinker Jones.”
Interestingly, the episode was directed by his father, Leo Penn.
While making an appearance on The Patrick LabyorSheaux podcast, Alison said the set was so hit, Sean passed out during his shoot.
The show’s host and co-star of the show Patrick Labyorteaux recalled saying “It was the hottest location in the entire world. [It] was so hot”.
Patrick added “It was so hot that they would have these buckets of ice water and sea breeze so that you could dip some sort of cloth in and put around your neck.”
Alison recalled “First day of summer is when Alison hits the ground because I was out like that”.
Speaking of Sean’s shoot, she said “All of a sudden, I heard a noise and turned around and he went [down], and he didn't wake up and come back to work.”
The show went on air in 1974 and ran until 1983 with 9 seasons.
