Christopher Nolan’s ‘THE ODYSSEY’ first trailer dropped
The movie is slated to release on July 17, 2026
Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie is highly anticipated project titled THE ODYSSEY.
The film is an adaptation of Homer’s ancient Greek epic, Odyssey, of the Greek king and his long journey home after the Trojan War as he attempts to reunite with his wife Penelope, played by Anne.
The trailer for the upcoming movie has been dropped which gave a glimpse into the world Nolan has built for the retelling of the epic.
The 2-minute trailer reveals more information about the characters and the mission they are embarking on.
The movie features Matt Damon as Odysseus and Tom Holland as Telemachus, alongside Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron and many more.
Matt Damon portraying the king can be heard saying “No one can stand between my men and home, not even me”.
Nolan spoke about the film saying “There’s a bit of everything in it. I mean, it truly contains all stories.”
This is Nolan’s first project after the massive success of Oppenheimer starring Cillian Murphy, which grabbed many awards at the 2024 Oscars.
