Taylor Swift's fiancé, Travis Kelce, addressed the Kansas City Chiefs intense 20-10 loss to the Houston Texans.
The American football tight end admitted the defeat left him devastated, noting it as a ‘sh—thy f—king feeling.’
Speaking on the latest episode of his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast New Heights, the 36-year-old admitted He couldn't shake the memory of the late-game drop that sealed the interception for the Texans.
“Especially dropping the ball late in the game like that, when we were on our last f--king chance to make something shake,” the Super Bowl Champion said. “It’s a sh--tty feeling.”
The retired offensive lineman, Jason Kelce, acknowledged the play was tough, but Travis stated he holds himself to a loftier standard.
He said, “I keep thinking if I show up to work, fix the issues through my practice habits, perfect the game plan and fundamentals.”
“Play my ass off for my guys next to me — it’s all going to come together like it has in years past,” he added.
In a major shift from their run of three straight Super Bowl appearances, the Chiefs' postseason hopes are now in question following the defeat.
“Looking at the playoffs, this is a tough reality to be in,” Kelce confessed. “Especially for how we’ve always found a way in years past.”
Notably, the star wasn't alone in the disappointment. The Lover hitmaker was in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium, accompanied by close friends Selena Gomez and Lena Dunham as well as Leonardo DiCaprio.
