Katy Perry soft-launches Justin Trudeau on social media official

Katy Perry is finally bringing her new beau Justin Trudeau on her Instagram.

After being spotted for months and sparking constant rumours of romance, the Pop icon and Former Canadian Prime Minister shut the speculation by making their relationship Instagram official.

Perry shared a social media post on December 6 featuring photos and videos from the pair’s getaway to Japan.

One snap shows the Dark Horse singer and Trudeau cozied up, while another clip captures them sharing a meal.

“Tokyo times on tour and more,” she captioned the carousel.

Alongside their casual outings, the duo also attended an official meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko.

Kishida later shared photos on X, writing, “Former Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch.”

He added, “During his time as prime minister, we met several times as fellow leaders. When I visited Canada, we worked together to strengthen bilateral relations, including the ‘Japan–Canada Action Plan,’ side by side. I’m delighted we can continue our friendship like this.”

Justin reposted the message, offering his own words of appreciation.

“Great to see you, @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to sit down with you and Yuko,” he wrote. “Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your commitment to both the international rules-based order and a better future for everyone.”
