Katy Perry, Justin Trudeau meet ex Prime Minister of Japan for lunch

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau reunited for an outing, unlike their previous one where the two confirmed their relationship status.

The 41-year-old seemingly ditched a romantic getaway for a lunch with Justin’s diplomatic friend Fumio Kishida, who served as the Prime Minister of Japan.

On December 4, Fumio turned to his official X account to pen down the details of their informal meeting.

Being delighted to share this friendship, he revealed that the former “Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch.”

The 68-year-old politician reminisced about Justin’s tenure in office when they “met multiple times as fellow leaders,” working on strengthening “bilateral relations” during his high-profile visits to the country.

The former President of the Liberal Democratic Party specially mentioned their collaborative work “Japan-Canada Action Plan.”

This came after the E.T singer, who is currently headlining her Lifetimes Tour, was seen holding hands with her beau as they stepped out for a date night in the city.

The songstress in a mask was being led by Justin as they were spotted at Asakusa Sumo Stable Annex. 

The two outings confirm that the couple are going strong despite reports of trouble in their brewing romance.
