Bunnie XO breaks silence on Chad Kroeger rumours after Jelly Roll divorce drama

Bunnie XO has firmly shut down rumours she has moved on with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger after her high-profile split from country star Jelly Roll.

The 46-year-old podcast host, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, addressed the speculation head-on during the latest episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast.

She made it crystal clear there is no romance brewing between her and the Canadian rocker.

Rumours began swirling after Bunnie shared a TikTok featuring Nickelback’s classic hit How You Remind Me and appeared alongside Chad in a social media clip. 

But the social media personality was quick to set the record straight.

“I am not dating Chad Kroeger,” she told listeners. 

“I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing.”

Bunnie even joked that fans shouldn’t expect to see her in another relationship anytime soon, adding, “There’s no Chad and Bunnie XO. Your girl is not going to ever be in another relationship.”

Her comments come just weeks after Jelly, real name Jason DeFord, filed for divorce in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. 

Since news of their separation broke, fans have been closely following developments in both of their personal lives.

Despite the end of their marriage, she spoke warmly about her former partner, describing him as her “best friend” and praising the life they built together.

“My family was always so important to me,” she said. 

“When I said those vows with him, I really meant them.”

The podcaster admitted marriage may not be her strongest suit after three failed attempts, but insisted she remains grateful for the journey she shared with the 41-year-old rapper.

“We built an empire together,” she reflected. 

“He was the catalyst for me becoming the woman that I am today, and for that I will always be grateful.”
