Taylor Swift sends special message after Spotify milestone

Taylor Swift was crowned on Spotify for being the most streamed female artist and so decided to celebrate with a special message.

After the 35-year-old singer released The Life Of A Showgirl, Taylor was able to retain the record for the third year in a row.

The Grammy winner shared a video for her top listeners: “If this is popping up on your phone then chances are you listened to a lot of my music this year on Spotify.”

The Lover crooner expressed her gratitude by saying: “Thank you for doing that. Thank you for all of your support”

She reminded admirers about the upcoming docuseries and concert film on Disney Plus “coming out on December 12 called The End of An Era and The Final Show.”

The projects are slated to release one day before her milestone birthday.

Towards the end of the clip, the songstress wished: “I hope you have a wonderful holiday season, so grateful for you… Thank you for everything” and closed it with a flying kiss.

Did Taylor Swift dethrone Mariah Carey?

It is to be noted that Taylor’s song The Fate of Ophelia dethroned Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas on December charts.

The track was reportedly the most-streamed on the streaming giant on December.
