HBO announces release date for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

The long-awaited third season of Euphoria is officially on the horizon.

HBO made public on Wednesday, December 3, that the hit psychological teen drama will premiere its third season in April 2026, through a social media post on Instagram.

The announcement comes more than four years after Season 2 concluded in February 2022, and the production wrapped last month.

The eight-episode season sees Zendaya returning as Emmy-winning Rue Bennett, alongside Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi as series regulars.

Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow also return, with Colman Domingo reprising his role as a guest star.

Joining the cast as new series regulars are Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry, promoted from recurring roles, along with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace.

Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steine also return.

Barbie Ferreira, who played Katherine “Kat” Hernandez, will not return due to creative differences, while Angus Cloud (Fenzo) passed away in 2023.

Storm Reid, who portrayed Rue’s younger sister Gia Bennett, will also not appear. Sharon Stone is set to make an appearance.

Creator Sam Levinson continues to write, direct, and executive produce the series, which is produced by A24.

Other executive producers include Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Zendaya, Will Greenfield, Ashley Levinson, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, and Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein.
