Jessie J breaks down on stage while singing about personal loss

Jessie J shared a vulnerable moment with fans during her latest performance, breaking down in tears as she remembered a traumatic incident from her past.

The Bang Bang singer debuted a song she wrote about the miscarriage she went through in 2021, after deciding to have a baby on her own.

In her sixth studio album Don't Tease Me with a Good Time, which dropped on November 28, the song Comes in Waves is about the loss of the baby and the singer could not contain her emotions performing it for the first time in London.

"Today marks four years that I lost my baby, I don't know if anyone has gone through the same thing, but if you have, or you know someone close to you and you saw it, it's really f***ing bad,” Jessie said, as per Daily Mail.

"It's something that you can't ever really prepare to go through. This song is for anybody that needs that hug. I hope this song can help you as it's helped me," she added.

Notably, Comes in Waves contains gut-wrenching lyrics about Jessie missing a future she never had with the baby, and the singer could also be seen crying while singing it live.

Jessie reportedly has Stage 2B in cancer, in which it is between 2 and 5cm.
