'The Chainsmokers' leave short note for Taylor Swift after collaboration

The Chainsmokers have teamed up with Taylor Swift to release a new variant of one of her trendiest songs.

As announced by the 14-time Grammy winner on her social media herself, the Closer hit makers have put their own spin on the chart-topping track, The Fate of Ophelia.

The song is available for download on iTunes and Amazon Music via the Style hit maker’s online store, with a teaser available for listeners with the announcement.

In a clip, the banger has been amped up, with thumping percussions and EDM flourishes, complete with bass drops.

The exciting announcement was posted by Taylor’s official management account, Taylor Nation on Instagram, with the caption clever quoting lyrics by writing that the new version was wrapping around them “like a chain, a crown, a vine.”

In the comments, the official account for the band wrote, “This is truly and honor,” with the prayer hands emoji, adding “we love u T.”

This is the sixth version of the song, with previous variants being the "Alone In My Tower" acoustic one, the voice memo, the Loud Luxury Remix and its extended version, coming before the most recent drop.
