Prince William and Princess Kate have reportedly received a special invite to US, five years after Harry and Meghan moved to the country.

The royal couple, who recently marked 14 years of being married, have been invited to US to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have been living in US since stepping down from their royal duties in 2020, have been snubbed, as per Page Six.

“Obviously the Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren't working royals, so they will not be invited to any celebrations.”, as per the source.

The signing of the Declaration of Independence is a historic event for the two countries which the two leaders, Donald Trump and King Charles are expected to mark together if the British monarch’s health allows him to travel.

Charles and Camilla have received an invite to Washington, DC for a State Visit in April from President Trump.

This snub for Meghan comes at a time when she has been criticised for “clinging” on to her royal titles as it was revealed that her house manager announces her arrival as “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex”.
