Nicole Kidman filed for divorce, Keith Urban 'wanted it first:' Here’s Why

Nicole Kidman initiated the end of her marriage to Keith Urban by filing for divorce, but Urban allegedly was actually looking forward to it.

The 58-year-old singer accidentally hinted at his heart’s wish in a conversation with a fan weeks before the actual divorce took place. 

The Somebody Like You singer, while speaking to his doppleganger admirer, Dale Whiteside, made a specific remark. 

The remark now holds a new meaning as the couple is parting their ways after Kidman filed for divorce previously. 

Whiteside allegedly stated that he met the singer before the Saskatoon concert and told him how people often mistake him for Urban, but only started to recognise him now because he doesn't wear a wedding band or have tattoos like the singer.

To which Urban allegedly responded with “Next time, it’ll probably be just the tattoos,” according to TMZ.

The concert in question took place on September 15, while the couple announced the news of their split on September 29, with Kidman officially filing for divorce papers soon after.

Urban these days is open to new love and looking for a match to date, according to sources.
