Selena Gomez shared the moment she knew Lupus won’t pull her back as she shared a heart-warming memory with fan.

Although the 33-year-old singer has spoken about Lupus at many instances, Selena for the first time revealed that it was a fan who helped her bounce back.

While speaking with Zane Lowe at Apple Music podcast, the Only Murders in The Building star shared what exactly pushed her through the misery that comes with diseases.

The songstress, who is married to Benny Blanco, recalled a fan interaction who was suffering from Lupus and was about to go for “a transplant,” the two things that she has experienced.

Suffering from the ailment, the little boy was very “nervous” which drove Selena to talk about “the surroundings and tried to make him feel comfortable.”

He interrupted the musician to ask if its “true” that she has the same condition to which the Calm Down hitmaker answered: “Yes.”

The response seemingly made him feel relatable as he looked up for the “first time” and acknowledged her, which the pop icon thought was “really powerful.”

This changed Selena’s perception at life and misery in generable as she started helping other people in need, asking herself: “How can I be there for someone else now?”
