Taylor Swift, who headlined this year with her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, has opened up about the struggles she faced with her dancing ahead of her record-breaking Eras Tour.
The 35-year-old pop superstar, who is set to release a six-part docuseries about the tour this December, reportedly got “really in her head” after facing years of criticism over her dance moves.
Her choreographer Mandy Moore, who crafted the routines for the blockbuster tour, revealed to The New York Times that Taylor had received a “bad rap” for her dancing in the past.
“She’d gotten a bad rap for a long time about her dancing, so she was really in her head,” Moore said.
“We shifted the focus to how movement was already manifesting in her body... and then we fine-tuned that.”
The 49-year-old praised the Opalite hitmaker’s incredible work ethic, adding, “She works so hard. Whatever I was putting down, she was picking up.”
Meanwhile, the songstress’s upcoming Disney+ docuseries, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The End of an Era, premieres on December 12, alongside a new concert film The Final Show, shot in Vancouver.
The behind-the-scenes series promises “an intimate look” at the Lover singer's journey, featuring friends, family, and special guests including Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, Sabrina Carpenter, and Gracie Abrams.
Travis Kelce's fiancé described the project as a tribute to “the most important and intense chapter” of her life.
