Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s twitter beef has now been passed down to their fanbases as they fight over the former’s viral song remix.
The Clun-Li rapper’s song Beez in the Trap has been meshed with 4 Non Blondes’s 1993 What’s Up, and after it became popular among netizens, the mashup has now been lip-synced to by A-list celebrities as well.
As a result, the Pink Friday hit maker’s song has also reportedly seen a surge in listeners going back to the 2012 track.
It has also sparked a war between loyal Nicki and Cardi fans, as they argue the validity of the hit, and if it means celebs support the former.
“It’s like celebrities are signaling that they are on Nicki’s side,” one neizen wrote with a crying emoji over Joe Jonas and Khalid’s take on the trend.
“Most of these celebrities dont know anything about her besides her pop hits let's be real,” an internet user replied, while another added, “i know barney is fuminggggg” with a laughing crying emoji.
“Its just a song lol. The kardashians always invite Cardi to things, Kylie Jenner was in Cardis music video. Kim invited Cardi to the skims event. Means nothing” a fourth netizen said.
Yes, Nicki has announced a new unnamed album, slated for release on March 27, 2026.
