Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s love story and now fallout is continuing to play out in the public as the mother-of-four pulls back the curtain on their troubles.
The beauty mogul has been open about the duo’s co-parenting struggles but is now letting people in into how the former couple’s relationship felt like to her.
In the premiere episode of The Kardashians latest season, the 45-year-old got vulnerable about the impact things have physically have had on her.
The socialite said that her psoriasis has come back, which is a skin condition characterised by patches of abnormal, typically itchy skin.
Kim revealed that she felt stressed because she felt the need to protect her children, North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six, liekly from the Yeezy owner’s erratic behavior.
The 45-year-old declared that she "always felt like I had a bit of Stockholm syndrome" with Kanye, explaining that she felt responsible to defend his actions and stick through the bad times.
Kim also debunked the narrative surrounding her in the public eye, that she has the "luxury of walking away and not dealing [with him] ever again,” referring to the Runaway rapper.
"When it’s not true and not rational, I just have to … I can’t engage all the time. It’s a divorce — not a kidnapping,” the American Horror Story actress said about netizen speculation on social media due to Kanye’s narrative.
Notably, the Flashing Lights hitmaker regularly posts racist, insensitive and offensive remarks in his platforms, even targeting the mother of his children.
Kim was 27 when she got famous and was just starting out in her career.
