Zayn Malik, Jisoo sent fans into frenzy with 'EYES CLOSED' preview

Zayn Malik, who was previously part of One Direction, joined BLACKPINK's Jisoo for new song EYES CLOSED after calling her a “cool collaborator.”

Although the news of the two artists collaborating was reported few days ago, both Zayn and Jisoo turned to their Instagram accounts to announce the new release.

For building fans’ anticipation, a preview of the song was dropped on YouTube, which instantly went viral amongst the music lovers.

The new melody, trending on social media platforms, was called the “COLLAB OF OUR DREAMS” by the official handle of YouTube Music on X.

One of the admirers gushed about the collaboration, “they’re not signing they’re seducing.” 

Another user was confused about the “wild drop,” asking: “what is happening and where did this even come from.”

This project is being considered a huge milestone for the Earthquake hitmaker with many applauding her for finally “coming out of her comfort zone” after the other three members of band.

The cover of the track, featuring the South Korean pop icon and the PillowTalk hitmaker, was also shared on his X with the caption: “EYES CLOSED… 2025.10.10 midnight.”

When is EYES CLOSED by Zayn Malik and Jisoo coming out?

While the initial reports indicated the new release will come out this month, the musicians decided to surprise their fans by announcing the release date, October 10.
