After the 56-year-old was earlier asked about her opinion on the Puerto Rico singer as the Super Bowl halftime performer, Jennifer gave a shocking reaction.
During her appearance on Today Show, the On the Floor hitmaker began clapping with excitement, nodding she heard the announcement.
The singer decided to strengthen her stance with another move days after showing support to Bad Bunny during interview.
The Kiss Of A Spider Woman re-shared the clip of her cheering on the MONACO crooner from the show with the text: “Me when someone mentions Bad Bunny:”
In the viral video, Jennifer recalled her performance with him and Shakira nearly six years, calling it a “cultural moment.”
She assured that the 31-year-old singer is about “to blow everybody’s mind,” which might be an “introduction to some people.”
Being asked about the controversy, Jennifer revealed she doesn’t know about any, “Is there a controversy… I swear I don’t know.”
Despite being an icon, she believes that the rapper is “one of the top artists in the world right now probably the top” and he will “pleasantly” surprise everyone.
She reminded the host that “music transcends language,” applauding him for what he has done. Similar remarks were shared by RocNation founder Jay-Z, who also highlighted his contributions.
