Nicole Kidman’s PDA pleas couldn’t save Keith Urban marriage

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s recent split has shocked Hollywood but body language experts say the cracks were showing long before the divorce papers landed.

The 58-year-old Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce this week after nearly two decades of marriage to the 57-year-old country music star.

Yet insiders insist it was Keith who initiated the split and whispers are swirling that he may already be dating a younger woman.

Body language guru Judi James claimed Nicole and The Fighter singer’s famously passionate red-carpet PDAs were more “performance than passion”.

She described their last joint outing as a “dance of doom”, with the Babygirl actress clinging on while the singer appeared “reluctant and distant”.

At the CMA Awards earlier this year, she “fan-girled” her husband as he picked up a lifetime honour but Judi says Keith looked keen to keep his distance.

“She pinned him with her eyes, while he looked away coyly. When photographers asked her to pose solo, he seemed almost relieved,” she explained.

Friends say Nicole has been left “humiliated” by rumours Messed Up As Me crooner has moved on.

Fuel was added to the fire when the songwriter recently tweaked the lyrics of an old love song, swapping Nicole’s name for that of his 25-year-old guitarist Maggie Baugh.
