Demi Lovato has dropped a new single titled Here All Night, with a catchy beat to mark her new dance-pop era.
The track opens up with a nostalgic nod for eagle-eyed fans as the Stone Cold singer unlocks her phone into a group chat with her iconic Disney roles from Sonny with a Chance and Camp Rock.
After refusing to meet up with the two because she wanted to be here all night (pun likely intended) the singer transforms her room into a club to dance the heartache away, as noted by the songwriter in the lyrics.
The 33-year-old also opened up about the inspiration behind the track in the Just Trish podcast, revealing that it was difficult since she has just gotten married to fellow singer Jordan Lutes.
“‘Here All Night’ is about a breakup, but I didn’t write it about an actual breakup. I made it up. And that was a part of this album that was a little challenging for me was how do I write songs about breakups when I just got married? “Demi stated.
The Heart Attack hitmaker then detailed that she channeled someone who was going through a breakup and almost got into a character while writing the song.
