Fans watching BP Plus Live were sent into a state of shock after a joke was made about the recent death of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne.
Particularly, it was Irish wrestler Becky Lynch who decided to crack a “cheap” joke about the late star.
The reporter explained, "Becky Lynch has come out now and starting roasting us like a Sunday dinner. She said 'I am not wrestling in Birmingham. The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago. Ozzy Osbourne has the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. If I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.’"
She was then described to have “scurried” away, leaving the audience in shock.
The reporter observed, "Her Ozzy Osbourne dig made everything else pale in comparison, that’s such a crazy line. So soon after his death too. Fans aren't going to be happy."
Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, just weeks after the major Black Sabbath reunion, and their final concert.
One user commented on the joke, writing on X, "Using the real death of Ozzy Osbourne for cheap heat doesn’t sit well with me. Just cheap and sh**ty. Do better @BeckyLynchWWE @WWE."
