Demi Lovato made a shocking revelation about her identity, marking one of the most significant and emotional moments of her life.
The 32-year-old pop icon recently appeared in an interview with Andy Cohen on Radio Andy, where she spoke candidly about her personal journey.
Lovato reflected a pivotal moment in 2017, when she told her parents that she could probably end up with a woman.
“It was really emotional but really beautiful,” she said. “After it was all done, I was shaking and crying—I just felt overwhelmed.”
The La La Land singer admitted feeling especially nervous about telling her mother.
“My mum said, ‘I just want you to be happy,’” she shared.
“And my dad was like, ‘Yeah, you’re definitely right.’ It was amazing.”
The songstress, who is known for creating several chart-topping hits, has been open about her evolving identity.
“I don’t know what my future looks like—whether I’ll have kids soon or in ten years, or whether I’ll do it with a partner or alone.”
