Kim Kardashian is using her platform to draw attention to two tragic true crime cases that are weighing heavily on her.
The 44-year-old SKIMS mogul revealed her unfiltered reaction on Sunday morning after viewing the compelling documentary One Night in Idaho on Amazon Prime, which is about the 2022 killings of four University of Idaho students.
“I'm watching One Night In Idaho, I thought I knew the story from the news but really had no idea,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photo of her TV screen. “It's really emotional and you can feel every friend and parents' pain.”
She continued, “So many details I just didn't know. Ugh it's just unimaginable.”
Kardashian's post was published just days after Bryan Kohberger, the man found guilty of the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, was given four life sentences plus ten years in prison.
For months, the horrific stabbings that occurred in November 2022 in Moscow, Idaho, a small college town, captivated the nation's attention.
The case was closed after eight people suspected were found guilty by the court. However, they were not sentenced as they already served in jail during their pre-trial detention.
The reality series star is known for making statement as she accessorised her look with a $3 million neckpiece during her court appearance.
Despite receiving heavy backlash for being “insensitive,” her legal representatives responded by saying that it was a sign to the suspects that Kim will remain “strong.”
