American actress Brittany Snow candidly revealed insights about taking a two-year break from her acting career.
The 39-year-old actress, who rose to fame with her role in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light, stepped into the Hollywood when she was only three years old.
In conversation with People magazine, the Pitch Perfect star stated, “I’m sort of a nervous person by nature, and acting is not always conducive for that, in terms of walking into an audition.”
After featuring in the 2006 movie John Tucker Must Die, Snow gave herself a break from industry, noting, “I didn’t think I was ever going to work again because I felt like I had to restart my career. But that time off was hugely important for me to find out who I was. It was a restart, in a way, that gave me a clear path forward.”
In addition, Snow unveiled that she still feels confused about her career, even after her recently released Netflix drama series The Hunting Wives.
She confessed to the outlet, this feeling is common among actors, except if you're superstar like Tom Cruise.
Notably, in 2007, Snow disclosed that she had suffered from the eating disorder anorexia nervosa in her early teenage years.
On March 14, 2020, Brittany Snow walked down the aisle with her former spouse Tyler Stanaland in Malibu. After three years of marriage, the estranged couple finalized their divorce in June 2023.
