Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt proved to be a quick learner when it comes to acing card tricks for his latest movie F1.

The 61-year-old played the role of Sonny Hayes who is a retired Formula 1 driver and former gambler.

Being a pro-gambler, the Oscar Award winner needed to play cards like a seasoned pro.

To make him teach this art, a highly skilled magician and creative consultant named Greg Chipman was brought to the set.

The 32-year-old magician taught the American actor a specific card trick named “A-lister” which is also referred to as the art of card manipulation.

However, while talking to BBC, Chipman shared his experience of working with the remarkable actor.

He admitted that he felt starstruck and was hesitant to talk to him but praised that Pitt is one of the most humble guy.

Chipman further stated that he was impressed by Pitt’s ability to pick up complex moves with surprising ease.

“He was a fast learner,” he told the BBC. “He cracked how to cut a deck of cards with one hand in less than a day, a move some people might take a month to master.”

However, not every trick came effortlessly. While Pitt aced the one-handed deck cut, perfecting the flashy move of throwing cards into a bin took a little more practice.

“With the one-hand deck cut, he was a natural, but throwing cards across a room into a bin, that took a little longer. He had to be accurate and that took a little time...take after take in fact,” Chipman stated.
