Nicki Minaj throws a major shade on her fellow rappers in response to their recent legal troubles.
The 42-year-old took to social media to poke fun at Megan, whose legal battle with her former photographer, Emilio Garcia, was cleared to proceed by a federal judge.
The lawsuit was filed in spring 2024 by her former cameraman, Emilio Gracia who accuses the 30-years-old rapper of sexual harassment during a European tour in 2022. He further claims of a hostile work environment and misconduct by Megan.
While responding to the legal update, the Girl on Fire hitmaker posted a video of herself laughing with a friend writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Oh no. What was that law again? Bwajahaahahhaajajajajajajajajajsssss.”
The mockery didn’t stop at X. Rather, the Trinidadian rapper shared a post on Instagram with the caption: “What was the name of that law again???????? Karma’s Law?.”
Recently, she posted more of tweets and Instagram posts joking about the lawsuit.
The posts have since sparked strong reactions across social media, with fans and critics divided.
Some accusing Minaj of being insensitive while others support her for speaking against rivals in the industry.
Referring to Jay-z one user wrote: “Finally ppl can see how grimey he is.” While the other one penned: “Nicki is hilarious!!!”
Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion have had a rocky relationship for years, with tension rumored to stem from label politics and personal betrayals. Nicki claimed that Megan told her to abort her son and Nicki appeared to diss Megan on the song "Seeing Green" in 2021.
