Chris Evans, who is famously known for playing the role of Captain America in the Marvel movies, expressed his disappointment over the next movie.
The actor revealed he was “sad” that he will not be returning to join the next Marvel movie as the superhero.
The next Avengers is titled Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled for a late 2026 release and many characters from the previous movies have been confirmed to star in it.
In conversation with Screen Rant, Chris said “It’s sad to not be back with the band, but I’m sure they’re doing something incredible, and I’m sure it’s going to be that much harder when it comes out and you feel like you weren’t invited to the party”.
Chris is currently promoting his movie, Materialists, with Pedro Pascal and Dakota Johnson. Pedro will be seen in the next Avengers as Mister Fantastic.
Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, is not currently confirmed to be in Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday.
