The new romantic comedy movie Materialists, starring Dakota Johnson, 35, Chris Evans, 43, and Pedro Pascal, 50, premiered on Saturday evening, June 7.
The premiere was held at the DGA Theatre in New York City.
Fifty Shades franchise star Johnson and Captain America actor Evans made a striking appearance at their movie premiere; however, The Last of Us lead Pascal couldn’t make it to the venue.
Despite Pascal’s absence, his co-stars made sure to keep him involved as they struck a pose with a cardboard cutout of his face.
Johnson puckered up and kissed Pascal’s cutout lips, while Evans did the same and kissed Johnson on the cheek, having fun and showing unity among the trio.
Last week, the Materialists' lead went viral when the indie film darling tried to make Evans and Pedro laugh during a promo video for the film.
The premiere was also attended by writer and director Celine Song, co-star Sawyer Spielberg, and real-life matchmaker Patti Stanger.
The anticipated rom-com Materialists will open in theatres on Friday, June 13.
The movie revolves around a young New York City matchmaker (Dakota Johnson) who finds herself torn between the perfect match (Pedro Pascal) and her imperfect ex (Chris Evans).
